It looks like the Transformer Pad TF300 won’t be the only 4G-equipped tablet that Asus is planning to release for the German market. Following our report earlier in the month about the introduction of an LTE-enabled model of the TF300, another model is set to receive the LTE chip: the Asus Transformer Pad TF700T. By the time it hits stores in Germany, it will be known as the Transformer Pad TF700KL.
The 4G tablet’s arrival was confirmed by Vodafone, which will officially unveil the Asus Transformer Pad TF700KL during IFA 2012 for its network. The tablet will boast a 10.1-inch display with 1,920 x 1,200 resolution and an 8MP rear camera. It should be arriving soon in Vodafone shops for €819.90 ($1,025) or €169.90 ($212) with a contract.
Another 4G capable device that Vodafone will introduce at IFA 2012 is the Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE. The quad-core Galaxy S3 LTE is expected to come in mid-October in three flavors: 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. There’s no information about the phone’s price for now. Guess we’ll have to wait to see whether the Galaxy S3 LTE will come with the rumored €749 ($935) price tag.
Planning to lavish on one of the two devices above? Or maybe both?
