For the second time in less than a week, Sony has had a leak involving smartphones. This time, the leaked device is the Sony C660X ‘Yuga’.
Last week, we reported on the appearance of the Sony 150X, the Sony 160X and the Sony C650X ‘Odin’. Apparently, that just wasn’t enough as the C660X ‘Yuga’ appeared in AnTuTu benchmark results this week. The model number in the benchmark is actually C6603, but the final digit marks the region in which the phone is being sold.
The benchmark reveals very little information about the phone in general. It’s possible to tell that the Sony C660X ‘Yuga” runs Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean and has a 1.5 GHz processor, but no concrete details beyond that are certain. Rumor has it that the phone will run a Snapdragon S4 chipset, and the benchmark results would seem to make this a strong possibility.

Very few details about the phone are known currently, so we’re unsure whether the Sony C660X ‘Yuga’ will have a 1080p screen like its sibling the 650X ‘Odin’ is rumored to, but with rumors saying that the C660X will have similar hardware to the C650X, this is a strong possibility. As soon as we know more details, we’ll report them here.
Are you excited by what we know so far about the phones Sony is preparing for 2013? Or are you going to wait for more details before you decide whether you’re excited or not?
