We have seen the Sony Xperia T announced for several markets in the past. Most notably, back in September when the handset came available for sale in France, Germany and the UK. And well, as of today we have some information regarding Canada. In short, Sony Mobile has announced the upcoming availability of the Xperia T.

The handset, which some may better recognize as the James Bond phone, will be available beginning in November. And perhaps some better news for those interested — it will be available with a handful of carriers. The carrier list includes Bell, Mobilicity, MTS, Rogers and Videotron.
Sony has yet to announce any specific release dates, or any pricing. Of course, with an announcement as such, we more often than not see that arrive from the carriers. In other words, we will remain on the lookout for those details. And given the release is set for next month, we expect those announcements to begin showing up sooner rather than later.
As for the Bond portion, the Xperia T was the handset used by James Bond in Skyfall. The handset will arrive preloaded with goodies such as behind the scenes footage, interviews, clips, wallpapers, ring tones, and “more.” Otherwise, aside from the Bond content, the Xperia T will feature a 4.6-inch HD Reality display, dual-core 1.5GHz processor, NFC, a 720p HD capable front-facing camera, a 13 megapixel rear-facing camera with 1080p HD video recording and running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The handset will also get an upgrade to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean sometime “following” the launch. And lastly, Sony noted that the Xperia T will be available in LTE and HSPA+ variants.
