Great news, Galaxy Express owners! Yet again, Samsung is doing its part for the developer community by uploading the kernel source code for its devices. This time, said smartphone is one of the lucky recipients.
What do you mean you never even heard of the Express? We reported about the mid-range Galaxy phone that features a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus display and a $100 price tag just a few days ago. Seeing that it won’t be arriving in AT&T stores until November 16, we probably should’ve used the term “future owners”.
But wait, there’s more open-source goodness for devs to sink their teeth into. The source code for the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 – the T-Mobile variant, that is – has also been made available online for your tinkering pleasure. Like the Express, the tab is yet to hit the market. T-Mobile hasn’t even shared its release date. Don’t think that that’ll stop Samsung from doing its thing, though.
