There’s a new large smartphone in town to take on the LG Optimus G Pro and the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, the ZTE Grand Memo, which has been unveiled at MWC 2013.
The Grand Memo – as it’s name suggest – is a phablet, a 5-7-inch device that will be too big for some and just right for others. More importantly, the device comes from a Chinese Android maker, which means it will cost less than its South Korean rivals.
Specs and features
The Grand Memo packs quite a punch under the hood and will be an interesting high-end choice for buyers. Here’s what it will have to offer:- 5.7-inch touchscreen display with 1920 x 1080 resolution
- 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor
- 1GB of RAM
- 16GB of memory
- 13-megapixel camera with auto focus, LED flash and HD video

- 3200mAh battery
- Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with custom UI on top
Release date and pricing
The ZTE Grand Memo will hit China in March, followed by European markets a month later. We have no idea whether the large smartphone will be available in the U.S. or not, and pricing details are not available at this time.
