Taiwanese company Acer originally announced the Iconia B1-A71 at CES 2013 packing a 1.2GHz dual-core Mediatek CPU with a mere 8GB of storage. Fast forward a few weeks at MWC, Acer is releasing a 16GB model of what is basically the same device.
The 7-inch Jelly Bean-powered slate will go on sale immediately for €139, which is 20 euros more than 8GB version, and it’s available in the Middle East, Africa and Europe.
Aside from the storage capacity increase, you’re not going to find a huge difference between this slate and the one that launched at CES 2013. The tablet has the same 7-inch 1024 x 600 display, 1.2GHz CPU and 0.3MP camera.
