If the $99 Cherry Mobile Fusion Bolt tablet got your attention when it was launched in the Philippines last week, then you’re going to like the latest bit of news about it that just became available courtesy of Cherry Mobile itself. As earlier reports have already mentioned, it will indeed be released some time in March. And now we know exactly when: March 6.
So mark your calendars for next Wednesday, March 6, as Cherry Mobile plans on releasing the world’s most affordable quad-core 7-inch tablet with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean then, in three major Philippine cities: Manila, Quezon City, and Cagayan de Oro. Here are the names of the stores where it will first become available:
- Cherry Mobile Concept Store at SM City North EDSA – The AnnexCherry Mobile also plans to release the Fusion Bolt all throughout the Philippines at some point in the not-too-distant future. And that is good news, considering the fact that it’s one of the world’s cheapest feature-rich Android tablets ever announced to date. Its hardware and software specs rival those of the Google Nexus 7 and Acer Iconia B1.
- Red Label Cherry Mobile Store at Robinson’s Place Ermita
- Graphic All-in Stores at Capt. Vicente-Roa Ext. Cagayan de Oro.
It’s really quite a promising device on paper, especially for something so affordable. So we’ll try to get ahold of one and give you a proper rundown on it as soon as possible.
