
Earlier today we had two distinct reports, one from Brazil and one from Vietnam, detailing new Motorola devices. And it looks like the company has decided to quietly announce two new RAZR handsets, the RAZR D1 and RAZR D3 via a press release today, a day ahead of Samsung’s Galaxy S4 event.
Apparently the phones will be available in Brazil, at least initially, and Motorola says they’ll offer “amazing value, cutting-edge features and guaranteed Android upgrades,” although neither model is the flagship X Phone you may be already waiting for.
Let’s take a look at the specs and features of these two devices – the RAZR D1 is pictured in white above, while the RAZR D3 is shown in black.
Motorola RAZR D1

- Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, guaranteed software upgrade to the next Android version
- Motorola Mobility’s exclusive Circles widget
- MP3 player and FM radio
- Scratch resistant Corning Glass screen
Release date and pricing
The Motorola RAZR D1 will be available in Brazil starting with March 13 (online) while the RAZR D3 will launch in “several weeks” from now.When it comes to pricing, the RAZR D1 will cost R$549 or around $280 (the version with analog and digital TV and dual SIM support) while the RAZR D3 will be more expensive at R$799 or $407.
Google/Motorola is yet to announce the handset for other markets, U.S. included, not to mention that neither model is similar to the handset spotted in Vietnam, which means Moto still has one more device to unveil in the near future.
