Rumor: Three Galaxy Note 3 designs in testing, Galaxy S4-like, ‘different design’ and flexible display

A new rumor reveals that Samsung may have as many as three different Galaxy Note 3 designs in testing.
Sam Mobile reports that an insider has revealed that Samsung is looking at three different internal Galaxy Note 3 versions, one that follows the design lines of the Galaxy S4, one that features a “completely different design,” and one that comes packs a flexible display.
In the past, we did hear from similar unconfirmed reports that Samsung may consider switching from plastic to metal for the Galaxy Note 3, a rumor that was later debunked, or that the handset would feature a flexible OLED display.

However, when asked about flexible displays, Samsung did recently say that such devices will be launched only in the future, without being actually revealing when that will happen. A different report did say that Samsung’s flexible OLED displays are delayed. Comparatively, LG has announced that it plans to launch a device with flexible display in the fourth quarter of the year.
The same insider has also said that the handset we saw in a picture yesterday from a different Galaxy Note 3 rumor was not actually a Galaxy Note 3 prototype. The publication goes on to say that the device in the image we questioned yesterday is actually a ZOPO ZP950, not even a Samsung smartphone.
New images showing any of these three purported Galaxy Note 3 versions have not been provided at this time, nor do we have any specs and features for you from the insider.
Yesterday’s report said that the handset would feature a 5.99-inch Full HD display, Exynos 5 Octa processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, microSD support and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
With all this in mind, we’ll remind you to take everything with a huge grain of salt, as nothing is confirmed by Samsung. The Galaxy Note 3 could be unveiled only later this year, around IFA 2013, the same event where its predecessors were announced, so expect plenty of rumors and leaks in the mean time.
