HTC One, the company’s flagship smartphone and the device it counts on to get out of the current rough patch, is now available nationwide in the U.S., at AT&T, Sprint, as well as a variety of other retailers.
In an e-mail to the press, HTC rounds up some essential details about the HTC One’s availability, starting with the operators.
AT&T has the HTC One online and in its retail locations: the 32 GB version costs $199.99, while the 64 GB one is $299.99, both with a two-year contract. Pre-orders are reportedly already shipping.
Sprint offers the 32 GB version at $199.99 with a two-year contract, but you can get it for $99 if you switch from your current operator.
Also important is that all of the versions available at the moment are in silver, with a black 32 GB version coming to AT&T and Sprint in the coming weeks. T-Mobile will also be getting the 32 GB silver version, with HTC saying that it will happen “soon” (T-Mobile already has it available for pre-order, with a bonus car dock, shipping April 24).
The HTC One is also available at various electronic retailers including BestBuy, Radio Shack, Walmart, Target, Amazon.com, Costco, Car Toys, Sam’sClub, HSN.com and HTC.com (where it’s priced $574.99 unlocked).
HTC will support the HTC One launch with its HTC One Live Experience, including concerts by Pharell and Grouplove today, as well as the Manchester Orchestra next week.
If you’re in the U.S., do you plan on getting an HTC One? Where will you get it from?
