We live in a very exciting world for mobile technology. Now, more than ever, we are experiencing more new and creative ways to use mobile devices than ever before. In a new water-art project, a team of artists and designers are using the popular Galaxy Note 2 as a method to create new water art.
The team over at Steak Studio used the device along with its S-Pen to control a pool of water. This water had waves blasted into it wirelessly directly by the device. Simply put, whatever the team would draw on the touchscreen, is exactly what would appear in the water and the design stayed true to all of design depth that was showed on the touchscreen.
Samsung’s marketing team has been hard at work lately pushing this device to as many demographics as possible. With the utilization of artists like Kanye West or the recent BMW marketing collaboration Samsung is trying to have this device appeal to as many people as possible. This venture is just the latest in Samsung’s attempt to show exactly how creative people can be with this device.
Daniel Kupfer, director at Steak Studio and head of the project, has confirmed that the Galaxy Note 2 has become the device of choice for the team on a daily basis. This further cements the idea that these types of devices can have an honest use in all sorts of situations. “The Galaxy Note II is a fantastic device that gave us all the computing power required and the ease to bridge things together with zero hassle”, said Kupfer.
