If you’re a Sprint customer with a Galaxy Nexus and you’ve been waiting impatiently while other Nexus owners have been rocking Android 4.2 since November, you’re wait is over. The Jelly Bean 4.2 update for the Sprint Galaxy Nexus is now available on Google’s servers. It’s also likely that an OTA will soon follow.
If you don’t have experience with manually updating your phone, you may want to wait for the OTA. If you’re experienced and can’t wait for an OTA rollout, however, just download the update straight from Google. Updates from Android 4.1 to 4.2 include features such as Photo Sphere, Google Gesture Keyboard, and Google Now improvements.
Still no word on when Jelly Bean 4.2 might be available for the Verizon version of the Galaxy Nexus.
