CES 2013: Archos debuts four more tablets under the Titanium series

The Archos product development department must have been working some serious overtime recently, as the company revealed four new tablets at CES 2013 on top of the two they showed off earlier.
The Titanium line seems to be the Platinum’s little brothers, coming in dual-core CPU and quad-core GPU variants, rather than the quad-core CPU and eight-core GPU behemoths which power the Platinum tablets.

ST-Ericsson touts new quad-core mobile processor that uses half the power of the competition

Hot off the heels of three other new mobile processor announcements at CES 2013 from NVidia, Qualcomm, and Samsung, ST-Ericsson has announced its own new processor. ST-Ericsson claims that the quad-core NovaThor L8580 will be the fastest mobile processor that includes LTE built in. In addition, they say it uses half the power than other processors at the same performance level.

Amazon’s new AutoRip service gives you free MP3s of your CD collection

Amazon has just announced AutoRip, its new music service which is offering customers free digital copies of CDs in their music collection. The only catch, you must have brought AutoRip compatible CDs from Amazon. So if you’re old CDs are from somewhere else you’ll just have to stick with the original hard copy.
