One day only: Amazon giving away dozens of apps and games

Have you received an invitation for Amazon Appstore’s 2nd birthday bash? Actually, you don’t even need one, as you can just hop on to their website.  But it sure is nice to go to a birthday party where you don’t have to bring gifts at all.
On top of the discounts that you get to enjoy on select titles, as reported a few days back, Amazon is also giving away some apps and games as part of its “Free App of the Day” greatest hit program, which has been resurrected  just for a day.

Granted, most of the games are pretty old, but there are some new-ish titles as well. Since they’re free, perhaps it’s best not to complain. Only those in the U.S., Europe and Japan can enjoy the selection of Android treats from Amazon.
