Come May 1st, LG will hold a special event in New York city, where it will unveil its official plans for the U.S.-version of the Optimus G Pro. In the meantime, a press render showing off the AT&T version of the handset has now hit the net for your viewing pleasure.
Outside of the press render, not much new is revealed about the AT&T Optimus G Pro. On the outside at least, not much has changed other than the addition of AT&T’s logo. The big question whether or not LG plans to rework the internal hardware for the U.S. launch. While we can’t say for certain, it is likely that the specs won’t vary too much from the South Korean version.
That means the phone could come packing a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600 processor, 32GB storage, 2GB RAM, a 13MP rear cam, 2.1MP front cam and a 3140mAh battery. Like the South Korean version of the G Pro, the U.S. variants will probably also feature LG software enhancements such as dual recording mode and virtual reality panorama capabilities.
