Android has been moving closer and closer to being able to use full eye-tracking technology. There’s some examples already, such as the Samsung Galaxy S III feature called Smart Stay. This forces the screen to stay on if you’re looking at it so you don’t have to touch the screen to prevent it from turning off. Eye-tracking technology might be getting a lot more awesome than that in the near future with the iBeam tablet.

Despite promising us Android-based quad-core treats way back at the MWC in February, ZTE still doesn’t seem keen to leave its comfy low-end phone niche for the riskier high-end world.

As our data demands grow, the carriers are moving the goalposts once again. The new shared data plans from AT&T and Verizon want to meter your data usage. A lot of people are wondering why there’s no data-only plan available on the market for smartphones. Well, you can rest assured that it’s coming soon, but will it be affordable? Not if the major carriers have a say.
