If the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 struck you as something that could be your next cellphone, well, I'm not going to judge you. What I am going to do instead is let you know that if you're in the U.S. and your choice of carrier is AT&T, then there's some good bit of news that you need to hear regarding Samsung's latest barely-pocketable Note-branded kajigger.

So far, the Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet has only been made available with Wi-Fi connectivity — that is, under the wireless features department. Will Samsung ever release a mobile Internet-enabled version of it? Why, yes, of course Samsung will. In fact, it may arrive in store shelves very soon, as evidenced by documents that recently appeared on the official web site of the FCC.
Samsung's plans to bring an LTE-enabled variant of the Note 8.0 to the U.S. are apparently rolling along just fine; the FCC has already finished inspecting it and its GSM radio, which includes support for the following LTE bands: 2, 4, 5, and 17. This indicates that the tablet will come with full support for AT&T's LTE wireless network. If that's important to you, then you should probably be readying your wallet right about now.
As for what exactly you will be shelling out your hard-earned greenbacks for, recall that the Galaxy Note 8 comes equipped with most everything that made Samsung's original, more popular Note models great — only bigger. And yes, even the stylus is still included. If you haven't seen it already, check out our full Samsung Galaxy Note 8 review here.
