Alongside the three new Razr phones that were unveiled earlier in the month, Moto fans have another phone to look forward to – one that packs a 2.0GHz Intel processor inside, the Motorola Razr i.
Launched in London just a couple of days ago, Motorola said that the Intel-based Razr i will be made available in select European markets — UK included – starting in early October. So it’s about time we see some pricing details from UK carriers and retailers.
If you like your phone to come with a contract, to save some money upfront, Virgin is offering the Razr i for free with a monthly payment that starts from £23. You should be able to find the phone in its retail stores, as well as through online and telesales. Slightly heftier is the price that T-Mobile UK and Orange ask for the Razr i, which starts at £31 per month.
Note that you’ll be stuck with the carrier of your choice for the next two years.
For those who prefer to buy their phone without a contract, you can already pre-order the Razr i from Clove, which is selling it for £342 with the first stock due to ship in the first week of October. The retailer will also throw in a free copy of Norton Mobile Security.
