Everyone’s favorite news reader app, Pulse, has been given a major update. Not only does it look easier on the eyes, but version 3.0 of the Android app also brings along some new features.
UI-wise, there’s a new sidebar that users can access by an easy swipe or tap. The sidebar is where your pages, profile, and saved stories live. And speaking of pages, you’ll get an unlimited space to add your favorite publications and feeds. The pages can be easily customized as well.
If you’re suffering from an acute addiction to Pulse, the introduced “infinite scrolling” feature is one that’s right up your alley. You’ll never run out of stories from your source(s) to scroll and read. Just keep on scrolling, keep on scrolling…
The new Pulse also comes with a comprehensive search feature, one that lets you get results from Tumblr, YouTube, Reddit, Facebook, Google and other services.
As for some special treats that are only available on the Android app — the widgets have been redesigned and enhanced, while the notification function has been improved and comes with more options on how you can get the news delivered.
