The Verizon version of Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has been rooted and the method is now available for the public. Currently, those who want to root their Galaxy Note 2 will need to use ODIN and flash a rooted image on their device. Those of you who are long time Samsung users would be familiar with this method ,as it is not as cumbersome as it may sound.
While most of the things are working after the root there are some bugs that were reported by users who tried this procedure. One such issue concerns the signal indicator, which appears to be broken though the network is working fine on the rooted device. Others have reported that software on their phone isn’t that smooth after rooting as it was before while running original factory setup.
Developers are working to resolve these issues and putting the rooted files on the factory image is also been done.
