Samsung Galaxy Core is apparently a new dual-SIM smartphone for the Russian and Chinese markets, with Russian website HiTech@Mail.ru having discovered the handset ahead of its actual announcement.
The smartphone, which bears a bit of a resemblance to the Samsung Galaxy S4 in terms of design, is said to come to the two countries in mid-May, at a price of 12,990 rubles (roughly $415) for Russia. The Samsung Galaxy Core’s specs include a 4.3-inch display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 768MB of RAM.
In terms of storage space, the smartphone (which has model number GT-I8262), has 8GB of internal memory, but you can easily add to that using a microSD card, on which you can also store pictures taken by the 5-megapixel camera.
The Core won’t be Samsung’s first dual-SIM handset, or the last one. In fact, you may remember that we reviewed the Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos not too long ago, while a dual-SIM Galaxy S4 is launching in China.
