Google Plus users can upload any number of photos (and videos) to Google Photos for free … forever.
Photos upto 2048px x 2048px (large enough) and videos under 15 mins are free to store on your Google account. Larger images are automatically re-sized.
You can use Picasa to upload ALL your pictures to Google Photos in a few clicks, if you want.
Photos from your android phone are automatically uploaded to Google too, if you have the Google + app.
Be sure to protect your account, with so many personal pictures in it.
