AT&T had been offering the HTC One X smartphone, and as of today, they also have the HTC One X+ available for purchase. The One X remains priced at $99.99 and the new addition, the One X+ is priced at $199.99. In other words, you will be paying an extra $100 for the plus.
Lets talk specs and see if that $100 premium will be worth the expense. As a spoiler though, we are thinking the answer would be a yes. That said, here are the improved specs so you can decide. The HTC One X+ has a quad-core 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 64GB of internal storage, NFC, a 2100 mAh battery, 1.6 megapixel front-facing camera and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The original One X has 16GB of internal storage, a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, 1800 mAh battery and is still running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Otherwise, the One X+ has a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720) Super LCD 2 display, 1GB of RAM, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with 1080p HD video recording and the HTC Sense 4+ user interface.
All said and done, considering you are making a two-year commitment — we think the extra $100 will be well spent. Of course, if you are on a strict $100 budget, the regular One X is still a solid phone
