We mentioned a couple of months ago that Samsung was planning to release a special variant of the Galaxy Note 2 for the Chinese market, one that comes with dual-SIM support. It seems we’re nearing its launch date.
As reported by Unwired View, the dual-SIM Galaxy Note 2 will be released on November 24 for China Telecom. Thanks to the extra SIM card slot, the phone can run on both GSM and CDMA networks.
The rest of the phone’s specs are similar to its international counterpart, so it still boasts a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED HD display, a quad-core 1.6GHz Exynos processor, 2GB of RAM, 8MP main camera, 1.9MP front-facing camera, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The price for the dual-SIM Galaxy Note 2 hasn’t been confirmed, but it’s expected to sell for 5,199 CNY ($835). There’s no word yet on whether Samsung will release the smartphone in more markets.
