Several hours have passed since we last reported about the availability of the Nexus 4 and the Nexus 10, as well as the phone’s bumper accessory, on Google Play Store in Australia. As the sun travels west across the globe, the devices are going for sale on Google Play in more countries.
Android enthusiasts in France, Germany, UK, and Spain who have been smitten by the duo Nexus devices can now order the pure Google phone and its 10-inch tablet cousin on Google’s online store.
Unfortunately, Google seems to be having a hard time meeting the crazy demand for the two, particularly the 16GB Nexus 4 – as most stores have exhausted their stocks of the phone. It’s hard to keep track of their availability. One minute they’re available, and the next the dreaded “Notify me!” label shows up. We suggest you give it a try and see if luck is on your side.
The 8GB Nexus 4 is being offered for £239 in the UK, while the 16GB variant is selling for £279. Elsewhere in Europe, the 8GB and 16GB variants go for €299 and €349, respectively. As for the Nexus 10 tablet, UK customers will have to cough up £319 for the 16GB model and £389 for the 32GB one. Our European friends can get the 16GB Nexus 10 for €399 or pay €499 to get the bigger 32GB variant.
American customers can blame the timezone for being the last on the block, but the Nexus devices should be available for purchase on Google Play in the U.S. soon enough.
