Teknision shows off Chameleon Launcher running on smartphones [video]

Teknision, the developer behind the customizable tablet home screen replacement Chameleon Launcher, has released a teaser video of the application running on a Galaxy Note 2 and Nexus 4.
Chameleon Launcher aims at bringing consistency to the look of your home screen widgets, by creating its own versions of popular widgets and programs. The launcher already has custom widgets for Facebook, Google+, Instagram, and Twitter, as well as a few others. In fact, you can even design your own widgets using the custom API if you’ve got the time.

As for Android phone support, the developers have been working on improving folders and home screen apps for the tablet version over the past month. So hopefully we’ll see these features made available soon.

Teknision says that there will be a public beta test available to backers of its Kickstarter project once the application moves out of its current private alpha test.
