We talked about the Jelly Bean soak test for AT&T’s Motorola Atrix HD a few weeks back. It looks like the beta test went smoothly, as AT&T has announced on its website that the Android 4.1 software upgrade for the phone is now ready to be served for all.
Those eager to see Jelly Bean on their Atrix HD should be getting a notification update soon that will allow them make the move up from ICS to JB. You can try to speed up the process by checking for the update manually.
With Jelly Bean rolling out to the Atrix HD, this means AT&T now has three phones that run Android 4.1, a list that includes the Galaxy Note 2, the Samsung Galaxy S3, and the HTC One X+. As for Motorola, this is the fourth Moto phone that has been upgraded to JB. All in all, this has been a pretty good quarter for software updates.
Going back to the Atrix HD – are you seeing the update notification yet? For folks who have gotten the software package, how do you like your jelly-flavored phone?
