Samsung has released the Premium Suite upgrade for the Galaxy S3 in many international markets. The update was launched in some European markets last week and now it has been released in Korea. U.S. users are still sitting on Android 4.1.1, which was released not long ago.
The Android 4.1.2 for Galaxy S3 brings several new features including the great multi-window multitasking. Apart from that, the update also brings some Galaxy Note 2 specific features to the S3, including page buddy (a tile that shows different widgets on the home screen based on what you are doing with your phone), the revamped gallery app, the customizable notification center, Smart Rotation, new Paper Artist app, Group cast app, and more.
As the update has been released for all variants of the Korean Galaxy S3, those with SHW-M440S, SHV-E210S, SHV-E210K or SHV-E210L can head over to the Settings > About > Software update to upgrade their device to the latest version. The update is also available through Kies so, if you don’t want to download it over-the-air, simply plug in your device to your computer with Kies running.
There are no reports regarding the release of this update to the U.S. anytime soon. Have you updated to the Premium Suite upgrade on your Galaxy S3? If yes, then do you like it?
