From buying apps, books, music, to movies — there’s a lot of content that UK customers can find on Google Play, but getting magazine subscriptions wasn’t one of them. Well, that’s about to change today – or tomorrow, depending on how lucky you are.
Google has confirmed to PC Advisor that it’s bringing the Play Store’s selection of digital magazines to UK customers, with the service expected to go live in the evening of December 12. Although you can already browse through the available titles now, you can’t buy anything yet. By tomorrow morning, everyone should be able to see the updated store and make their purchase.
The digital racks will be carrying magazines like PC Advisor, T3, Computer Music, Wired UK, Total Film, PC Gamer, Condé Nast Traveller, Autocar, and plenty more.
Have you seen the changes yet on the Google Play Store? Are you planning to subscribe to a magazine or two?
