We can always rely on Samsung to have the kernel files for its smartphones and tablets available for the masses, sometimes even before the device hits the market. The latest source codes for a trio of Galaxy devices have now been uploaded on Samsung’s Open Source website.
First is the Jelly Bean source code for the AT&T variant of Galaxy S3. If you remember, the flagship handset has just received its Android 4.1 software package about a week ago. Samsung has also made the ICS source code for the Galaxy Tab 8.9 available. Again, we just saw the Android 4.0 update rolling out to the tab a few days back.
Next is the source code for the Galaxy Camera LTE on Verizon, which was just released by the carrier yesterday. This means you don’t have to wait a second longer to get your hands on the kernel files for the connected camera and the Jelly Bean goodness they offer.
Hit the links above to get the files directly from Samsung. In the meantime, you can also tell us what you’re planning to do with them. Just having a quick look or are you planning to develop something interesting?
