Facebook Home screenshots reveal squeaky clean interface

The Facebook Home launcher/app is expected to debut on the HTC First, previously known as the Myst, at Facebook’s Android event tomorrow.
Now, a set of screenshots have been posted by 9to5Google that could reveal what the interface of the HTC First will look like. If real, the screenshots, which originate from the well-known supplier of inside info @evleaks, show a surprisingly simple interface. On the home screen, users will be familiar with the “Status”, “Photo”, and “Check In” buttons currently in the Facebook mobile app, but since Facebook Home is built on top of Android, they’ll still have access to Google Play.

From what appears to be the lockscreen, notifications are shown very cleanly, giving you a quick glance at what’s going on.

If you’re familiar with the photo gallery in Jelly Bean, it’s virtually identical on Facebook Home. You can browse through all your photos or videos, and easily share to different apps.

Rumors of a Facebook phone have surfaced many times over the years. Now the social network may finally be ready to launch its own smartphone. As far as specs go, here is what we think we know so far about the HTC First:
