I’m not sure how many of you are eagerly awaiting for Samsung’s Galaxy Premier after it’s been revealed that it lacks LTE, but those faithful Sammy fans now have additional cause for concern.
The slightly downgraded S3 has apparently had its “international” release pushed back due to unknown reasons. Rumored to be coming in “select” European and Asian markets in late November or early December at first, this big guy is now thought to land in late January at the earliest.
Some countries across the two continents might not even see the Premier until the first week of February, while a US release is still uncertain. At best, the 4.65-incher will see the light of day stateside in the spring and we have to ask ourselves – wouldn’t that be too late?
Those that got front-row seats at Galaxy Premier’s unveiling back in October are still rumored to be among the first to see this in stores, so expect it in Russia and Ukraine by mid-January.
While we advise you, as usual, to take all this “intel” with a grain of salt (or two), in all honesty there’s a very good shot every last bit of speculation here will turn into reality. And that’s not just because SamMobile is a pretty reliable source of Samsung-related rumors, but also because Sammy’s been awfully silent about the device’s availability ever since its unveiling and that can only mean one thing.
On a happier note, it seems that something good could come out of the delay too, with the Galaxy Premier being very likely to hit the market in a new shade – Steel Gray. Sounds fancy, doesn’t it? If we’d be fans of day-dreaming, we could even hope to see the Premier running Android 4.2 upon launch, but who believes in Santa Claus anymore?
