Samsung Galaxy S3 gets second price-cut in India, now available for Rs 29,480 (~$560)

The Samsung Galaxy S3 is one of the most popular phones available at the moment, helping Samsung capture leading market share in 2012. Until the 2013 releases come to the market, the Galaxy S3 is still a great choice, and if you were considering picking it up, now is the best time to do so!

Released at Rs 43,000 (~$830), the Samsung Galaxy S3 is now available for Rs 29,480 (~$550) after receiving a second price cut in as many months. Granted, Samsung is probably setting up for the release of this year’s flagship devices,  but the specifications of the Galaxy S3 will still be high-end, and is a still at this price point. Here’s a quick look at the specs -

• 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display with 1280×720 resolution
• 1.4 Ghz quad-core processor
• 1GB RAM
• 16GB internal storage, expandable via microSD
• 8MP rear camera, 1.9MP front camera
• 2,100 mAh battery

The Samsung Galaxy S3 released with Android 4.0 ICS, but is now upgradable to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, along with a Premium Suite update that adds a host of features to the Galaxy S3.
