New Bluetooth certification files has revealed that EK-GC110 is a new Galaxy Camera Samsung is working on. SamMobile reports that there is a slight chance we will be seeing this model at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this year.

The device is also said to be another version of the current Galaxy Camera. This would make the most sense considering that Samsung often releases wifi only models of their tablets. This would be great news considering that carrier support would be removed.
The camera will still be a bit pricey considering that a Galaxy S III, which is a pretty penny in itself, is strapped to the back of the camera. It should cost less when you consider that it will not be touting a LTE radio inside though.
Perhaps Samsung is working on a cheaper version of the Samsung Galaxy Camera like they did with the Samsung Galaxy S III? Perhaps Samsung is already looking to make a successor to the camera. Who knows, maybe this is just a way to add calling functionality to the device!  That will no doubt be an interesting device to hold up to your ear. We will not know until Samsung makes an official statement. For now, take this with a large grain of salt until we hear something convincing.
The Samsung Galaxy Camera is a great point-and-shoot camera. It will no doubt be an easy replacement for your old point-and-shoot camera. According to our own Alvin Ybañez, the quality of the Galaxy Camera approaches the quality that a DSLR could produce!
If the camera is not seen at MWC this year it shouldn’t be long before we see the device at one of Samsung’s famous Unpacked events
