An ICS tablet for just $59.99? Meet the Matrix One

It seems that today must be the day for good news about cheap ICS tablets. A bit earlier, Android Authority reported that the Coby Kyros MID7033 was getting a steep discount from $109.99 to just $79.99. If you think that’s a bargain, how about just $59.99? No, that wasn’t a typo. The Matrix One isn’t exactly a powerhouse, but it’s hardware is actually pretty close to the Kyros. Here is  a rundown of the tablet’s specs:

For such a budget price, it’s really quite surprising to hear that the screen is capacitive, as opposed to a cheaper resistive one. Even the processor isn’t that bad, especially when you stop to think about the low pricing. On the other hand, this isn’t the best choice for those that absolutely want premium features like GPS and NFC. As far as the market is concerned, the Matrix One website does mention that the tablet works with Google Play, GetJar, the Amazon AppStore and others.
