While we have already seen the first Galaxy S4 benchmarks for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 GT-I9505 version (see our own detailed results here,) we’re yet to spot the Exynos 5 Octa out in the wild and take it for a similar benchmark run.
But it looks like Sam Mobile has already gotten some serious hands-on time with the Exynos 5 Octa-powered Galaxy S5 (GT-I9500,) running the latest firmware version. In the process, the publication performed some benchmark tests on the device including the popular AnTuTu and Quadrant.
Sam Mobile says it was “BLOWN [sic] away from the results [they] got,” with the Galaxy S4 “crushing” other 2013 flagship devices from the competition, including the HTC One and the Sony Xperia Z. Here are some screenshots:
The GT-I9500 scored 27417 in AnTuTu and 12726 in Quadrant. In order to get a better idea of what that actually means, here’s our GT-I9505 AnTuTu benchmark results right alongside the performance of various other Android handsets in the same test:
