View your Google Play purchase history using My Purchases

You may or may not remember this, but there was a time when Google Play let you view a list of all the apps that you’ve purchased — instead of lumping them with free apps, as is the case now. If you missed this functionality, there’s an app that will let you easily access your purchase history.

Available on the Play Store as a free and paid download, My Purchases will not only list your bought apps, but it will also show other purchased contents like books, music, TV shows, movies, and even devices.  The neat thing is the price will also be listed.

So if you’re looking for a more convenient way to check whether or not you’ve gone overboard with buying those discounted apps and games, many of which you’ll probably only run for a couple of times, feel free to give My Purchases a try. The paid version, My Purchases Pro, will set you back $1.25, but at least it’s free from ads.
Note that the developer said that some of your purchased items may not show up.
Just a quick tip, if you don’t mind firing up your browser instead, you can always go to google.com/play and click on the My Order & Settings menu on the top right corner. You’ll get a chronological view of your Google Play downloads. Though it lists everything, at least it has a Price column to quickly check if the item was free or if you’ve actually paid for it.
