We just mentioned in our previous post that Sprint is due for a new Sammy phone, the Galaxy Victory 4G. If you’re looking to replace your old phone, but don’t necessarily need the best that the market has to offer, here’s some information about Samsung’s latest mid-range offering.
The Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G falls somewhere between the Galaxy S3 and its predecessor. Apart from the small (by Android standard) 4-inch WVGA display, it packs the same zippy dual-core Snapdragon S4 found on the S3, though clocked lower at 1.2GHz. Other features include a 4GB internal storage, microSD card support, a 5MP rear camera, a 1.3MP front-facing camera, NFC, Google Wallet, 2,100mAh battery, and Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The next tidbit of information that Android Central has uncovered is the Galaxy Victory 4G’s release date on Sprint, which apparently has been set for some time in September. Unfortunately, that’s as specific as it gets for now.
In case you’re wondering about the price, the Galaxy Stellar is being offered for $99 with a two-year contract. We can assume that the price tag for the Galaxy Victory 4G will be set rather similar to the Stellar.
Any Sprint subscribers out there salivating over the Galaxy Victory 4G?
