Canadian carrier Rogers on Wednesday made its HTC One available for pre-order via its Online Reservation System. Those that are eager to snag a HTC One from Rogers will have to make a down payment of $40 to secure their purchase.
The carrier announced that the HTC One will run for $149.99 with a new three-year contract. Since the handset will be headed to Bell, TELUS and Virgin, you can expect that the device will run at the same price point as Rogers’ One.
If you’re still hesitant in pre-ordering an HTC One from Rogers, you should act soon as the mobile operator and HTC have teamed together to offer those who pre-ordered the device a chance at winning a SHARP 42-inch HDTV with HTC Media Link. The contest is set to end on March 22, which MobileSyrup says might be the launch date of the smartphone.
HTC previously announced that the HTC One will be the only One device launching in 2013, as the Taiwanese-based company said they are only looking to launch one flagship device in 2013. However, HTC did say that older handsets like the One X and One X+ will be receiving the update to Sense 5 within a few months.
Are you going to pre-order the HTC One from Rogers to get a chance at winning the HDTV and HTC Media Link?
